Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the AI Test Studio for Jira Cloud Atlassian Marketplace app and related services used to operate the app (collectively, the "Service"). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Scope of the Service
The Service is a Jira Cloud app that helps users generate AI-assisted manual test cases, Gherkin scenarios, and related outputs from Jira issue content. The Service may also support optional integrations, including Xray Cloud and Zephyr Scale, depending on customer configuration.
2. Eligibility and Customer Responsibility
- You must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws, Atlassian terms, and any internal policies applicable to your organization.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and legal basis to use Jira content, attachments, and other data with the Service.
- You are responsible for the configuration and use of any optional third-party integrations enabled in your environment.
3. AI-Generated Content
The Service generates suggested outputs, including manual test cases, Gherkin scenarios, descriptions, labels, steps, and similar materials. AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsuitable for a particular use case, or require adaptation for your environment.
You are responsible for reviewing and validating generated output before relying on it, publishing it, or using it in development, QA, regulatory, or production workflows.
4. Customer Data and Processing
To provide the Service, we may process Jira issue content, additional user-provided context, attachments, generated output, and limited technical, operational, configuration, and licensing data. Additional details about privacy and data handling are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Integrations and Third-Party Services
The Service may interact with Atlassian services, AI providers, and optional third-party systems such as Xray Cloud and Zephyr Scale. We are not responsible for the availability, security, policies, acts, omissions, or service levels of third-party platforms that are not controlled by us.
6. Availability, Changes, and Support
We may modify, improve, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, including features, integrations, limits, or operational practices. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every feature will remain available indefinitely.
7. Acceptable Use
- You may not use the Service to violate law, infringe rights, or attempt unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts.
- You may not use the Service to submit harmful, abusive, deceptive, or unlawful content through the app.
- You may not interfere with, reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent reasonable technical or operational limits of the Service, except where such restriction is not permitted by law.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or reliability.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, or interruption arising out of or related to the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, your use of AI-generated output and downstream publication into Jira or third-party tools is at your own risk.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and discontinuing use. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, non-payment, or breach of these Terms.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on this page. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are made available constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
